Did you know we can pick up your pets medication for you?
We don’t need your pet or you with us, you just let us know what we are collecting and we will collect your pet medication for you.
This is one of the services we have been offering for years but never really shout about. Picking up pet medication can be a bit tricky if you don’t drive, the vets is across town or you just are not able to due to time constraints or physical limitations.
Whether it’s a one off collection of pet medication or a regular pick up, if you need us to collect anything from the vets not just pet medication but perhaps flea and worming treatment you only need to ask.
Anne uses us fortnightly for collection of her pets medication, her dog has diabetes and needs needles and Insulin collecting. Anne is not very mobile, is recently widowed, and is not leaving the house as much as she used to. She lives 6 miles from the vets and used to call a taxi, go out in the cold and ask the taxi to wait, something they are not always happy to do, and then back home again is an inconvenience she is happy she doesn’t have to deal with anymore.
Its much easier for Anne to give us a call and ask us to collect her pet medication for her.
Its not just the vets, bags of dog food can be incredibly heavy, with bags weighing as much as 15kg, its not always an option to collect dog food or cat food yourself.
If you have a medical condition that restricts you from lifting anything heavy then our pet food collection service is the way to go.
Pam has a degenerative disc disease and cannot lift anything. Pam’s husband works out of area and long hours, so isn’t around when the pet store is open.
Pam calls ahead to the store, orders her food and pays over the phone. We collect the food for Pam and deliver it to her.
Pam is one of many customers who for many reasons is not able to collect her own dog food and with a Golden Retriever weighing in at 32kg he eats a lot of food. That’s one bag of dog food every 3-4 weeks.
Let us know when you need your pet food by, we can collect it for you.
If you want to set up a regular slot with us or a monthly subscription just let us know.
