If you’ve been in a relationship where you got a dog together but are now divorced, it’s understandable the dog will want to continue to see you both. It’s also likely you may not want to see each other though.
It’s ok we are here to help.
A pet taxi between separated/divorced pet parents is becoming more and more common. As pets become the new kids, the visitation rules have shifted slightly.

I remember days from childhood being picked up by my dad who had to wait on the door step. My Mother was inside cursing the very ground he walked on. It wasn’t nice and created an uncomfortable situation for all involved.
It’s no different for dogs. They can easily sense the tension between their owners, causing the dog to not fully understand.
Chauffeuring your dog between divorced parents
At Pets 2 Places we’ve been chauffeuring dogs between owners for many years. We don’t get involved in the situation. We are simply there to collect and drop off between dog parents.
It’s great for the dog because they get to maintain the relationship with you both but without any of the uncomfortable atmosphere.
Plus, you don’t even have to see each other!!
At Pets 2 Places we transport pets with their safety and wellbeing as our number one priority. You can rest assured whilst your dog is on their way to the other pet parent, they will be completely safe in our hands.

You may have stopped loving each other but your dog didn’t, just like a child, it’s really important for your dog to keep you both in their lives.
If you need pet transport to and from visitation days, why not pop on over to our locations page and find out more. Or, if we don’t have anyone in your area right now, sign up for our area alerts so you find out straight away when someone is.
