Our franchisee case study this week is Chris who joined Pets 2 Places in September of 2023, after seeing a need for the service in his area.
Chris, having come from a military background and having run his own business before, was ready for a new challenge.
At 52 Chris knew he wanted to do something new. But, he didn’t want to have to put in the time and effort it takes in the first few years of starting a business to get established.
When Chris found Pets 2 Places he knew this was the right opportunity for him. With a love of pets and wanting to make a difference in his community, Chris joined quickly after finding out more about the business.
Chris is a fast learner and took in everything from how to transport pets to using his own knowledge of growing a Facebook page. Asking questions along the way and asking for extra help with the parts he was not so skilled at.

Now 6 months in Chris says this opportunity is so much more than he could have imagined. Chris feels like he has found his place in the world. He loves making a difference to help the pets and owners of Pontefract & Wakefield.
Chris has done amazingly well at building his business. He’s hitting all the financial targets set for him as well as building an incredible online presence in only a short space of time.

With over 50 Google reviews and several Facebook reviews, a Facebook following of over 1000 as well as on average a 50% repeat customer rate. That’s amazing progress in only 6 months.
Chris has taken everything we’ve taught him and hit the ground running. It has enabled him to build a really solid business in only a very short space of time. This is the benefit of joining a franchise.
