A people taxi, that’s the taxi’s that have been around forever, you book on the app, you pay online, they turn up, wait in the car for you to get in and if they speak to you, you’re lucky.
That’s the complete opposite of what we do.
A pet taxi; you can call us on the phone, that’s no problem if you want a real person to speak to (it’s ok If you don’t, there are other ways to book).
We’ll probably ask you for some more information, such as who else will be with you? We’ll ask about your pets, any other luggage that kind of thing.
On the day of your journey
On the day of your pet taxi journey, we will turn up to your collection address, knock on your door, help you get ready if you need help, assist you to get your pet ready, help you to the car if you need help.
Chat to you on your way to where you’re going, we are always happy to chat about your pets, and happy to tell you about ours!
If you need help where you are going, like assistance at the vets, we are only too happy to help, you just let us know how we can help you.
If you don’t need our help, we will just wait in the pet taxi for you, we don’t leave you there, so you won’t have to wait around in the rain or cold for us to come back.
Even better your pet won’t have to hang about either, great if you have a cat in the basket!
A great alternative
A pet taxi is a great alternative to a people taxi but with the difference in the level of service a pet taxi offers, there’s of course a difference in price.
Where a people taxi might cost £15, we could be double that or more.
When you use a pet taxi you are using a bespoke door to door service by a specialist service provider, who not only has overheads such as wages, but insurance, fuel, and most importantly the best top of the range crash tested (that’s the same crash test children’s car seats go through) pet transport equipment money can buy.
Plus, we are insured to take pets (it’s highly unlikely people taxi’s are) as well as being pet first aid trained.
