It’s been 17 months since we lost our lovely Solihull franchisee, 17 months we have mourned the loss of our lovely friend Nic.
Nic was such a lovely person, always there with a smile and a helping hand, a genuine kind soul who loved helping people, going above and beyond was just who she was.
Nic was a mother of 4 children, and had a menagerie of pets, from cats, dogs, iguanas, rabbits, Guinea pigs and local wildlife who ventured into the garden for food and shelter.
All of Nic’s animals were rescue’s, strays she’d taken in, that’s who Nic was. A lover of all animals big and small.

It’s been tough losing one of our own and especially our first ever franchisee, who was not only a franchisee but a friend.
The customers have felt the loss with no one to help them get their pets where they need to go. How do people get their pets where they need to go if they don’t drive? Most taxi companies don’t want pets in their cars, and even if they do take the pet, they don’t offer the level of care our Nic did.
Nic did whatever the customer needed, whether it was a helping hand to the car, help getting the cat in the basket or taking the pet when the owner is housebound.

No one like our Nic!
We are hoping there is though, because whilst we will miss our Nic forever, we do need someone to take over.
The phone rings from Solihull on a daily basis with customers needing the service and disappointed we can’t help.
We need more people like Nic in life, true genuine authentic people who just love to help others and be that kind gentle soul.
Do people like that still exist in the modern world?
I hope so.
