It’s not easy getting your pet to the vet when you don’t drive. Especially if you are the proud parent of a rather large breed furry!

We had a call this week from a customer who knew it was time to say goodbye to their beloved Rottweiler, back legs are gone, a fall a few weeks ago has left them in pain and old age has taken it toll.
But at 65kg, finding a way to get to the vets isn’t easy for this owner who doesn’t drive. Luckily they know about Pets 2 Places pet taxi, as they had used us years before with their previous dog.
A quick WhatsApp message to make the arrangements, the weekend to say good bye, and it’s all planned.
We understand these are difficult times, a hard decision to make and some kindness goes a long way.
Bespoke service
If you let us know in advance what extra help you need, such as the dog needs help getting in the car, we may need some other people to help if they are extra large. It helps it go smoother on the day.
There’s no rush from us, take your time to say good bye.
We are here to support you
We know this is going to be one of your worst days, but we are on hand to help make your trip to the vets go as smoothly as possible, using our bespoke service.

Your vets may not be round the corner and that’s ok, we cover all the vets local to you and further afield. Or if you’d rather we make the appointment for you to save you upset of having to explain the situation, you only have to ask and we will be happy to organise this for you.
Pets 2 Places is on hand to help make any vet experience as easy and stress-free as possible.
